SVEN Hadley recorded another win at the Mullingar show, this time clinching victory in the Entegro Paddy Dunican Memorial 1.25m Jump-Off class. Riding HSH Harper du Seigneur, he was one of 10 double clears, in a 23-way jump-off in a time of 32.46. This 11-year-old stallion is by Aganix Du Seigneur and out of the Chippison-sired dam, Covers Chip. Alice Moloney was just over a second behind with MHS Jolene in 33.51. Zaid Ali Raad added to his record, taking third with B.E. Flygold in a time of 33.80. Victoria Clarke and Cherry Candy Girl, for the second time of the week, featured in this line-up, taking fourth when they stopped the clock in 34.29. Continuing her impressive run, Katie Nallon and Carrabeg The Full Irish took fifth, stopping the clock in 34.89. For the second week, Cork’s Lucy O’Sullivan featured in the line-up, taking sixth with CSF Tamara, coming home in 37.65.
Sven Hadley put another win on the board, this time claiming victory in the Oakland Stables CSI2* 1.20m Two-Phase Special. Riding Make It Easy, he lodged a double clear in 25.62. Claiming the runner-up spot was Alannah O’Donoghue and Fairy Fort, who also kept the poles in place in 26.30. Robert Harrison added to his winnings when he partnered Novellent to a clear in 27.00. Zaid Ali Raad returned to the line-up with B.E. Flygold, slotting into fourth, with a clear in 27.50. Caitilin Taggart and Palm Springs accounted for fifth, with a clear in 27.86, while Isabelle Boland and Boleybawn Reverie completed the top six with a clear in 28.20.
