1.35 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle 2m 1f
Unquite Dreams made up plenty of ground in the straight and was even denied a clear run over a furlong out before winning her bumper here in July.
She again showed up well over hurdles when fourth to easy winner Al Arrivee at Listowel last week, racing in mainly second place that day and only giving best in the straight.
That run must give her a chance against Mastertown Miss who hasn’t yet matched the promise of her debut effort on soft ground at Clonmel in April.
She did run a nice race behind The Dotski at Ballinrobe and is likely to get much closer this time. Astelia has had plenty of chances and isn’t easily ruled out either.
SELECTION: UNQUITE DREAMS
Next best: Mastertown Miss

Kingdom Calling failed to land a blow when a strong favourite for a handicap hurdle at Listowel but is worth chancing again having shown winning form off an identical mark to this over fences at Tramore previously.
He ran on from the back of the field to take fifth place behind Marian Avenue last week and should do better this time if able to lie a little closer to the pace.
Colin’s Friend was having his first start for Henry de Bromhead and his first outing since February when a close fourth at Galway a month ago and is a big danger along with the narrow Listowel runner-up Granlahan.

2.45 Charlie Foley’s Rated Novice Hurdle 2m 1f
Lips Freedom is taken to record a second course-and-distance success. He was a handicap hurdle winner here in July and went very close to scoring again when just run out of it by a less-exposed rival in Bells Grove at Navan.
That was a career best effort and he now might just hold his own against Firebrand who put his experience to good use when making all the running to win in fine style at Galway last month. Belladaball added to her listed mares’ bumper win at Fairyhouse in April when scoring a taking win in a maiden hurdle at Sligo.
SELECTION: LIPS FREEDOM
Next best: Firebrand

Coolboy Christy stuck at it well enough when fifth over an extended two and a half miles in a stronger race at Sligo last month and he can take advantage of a drop in class and a step up in trip to record his first success.
James The Brave has three wins to his name, including a victory over fences at this meeting last year. He scored on his most recent start, also over fences, at Wexford in April and might well be a player off a mark of 97, 11lb below his current chase rating.
The veteran and top-weight Good World went well enough in two recent starts, while at the other end of the handicap, Tedworth was only a little over five lengths off the pace when fourth at Clonmel on Thursday.
SELECTION: COOLBOY CHRISTY
Next best: James The Brave

A clear round of jumping might do the trick for Henry de Bromhead’s mare Stoneyford Lady.
She bowed out three from home at Ballinrobe last month but looked to be in with every chance at the time. Earlier efforts at the Galway Festival and at Wexford also read well.
Kilbrin Rocco has done well since winning over fences at Tramore in April. A runner-up at Wexford next time, he was hampered early on at Galway in July but bounced back when going very close, albeit off a lower handicap mark, over hurdles at Listowel.
It’s a while since the Presenting Lad won a race but he’s done well of late too, while his fellow veteran Bythesametoken was an early casualty at Listowel but earlier a fair fourth in a much stronger race than this at the Galway Festival.
SELECTION: STONEYFORD LADY
Next best: Kilbrin Rocco

Stede Bonnet might be up to making a winning start over fences. He has two bumper wins and two hurdle wins to his name but possibly ran his best race when runner-up to Sequoiaspirit over this distance at Roscommon in June.
Time Is A Thief has only run three times, winning his maiden hurdle at Tramore but absent since his runner-up placing behind Sageborough at Wexford in May.
He’s up in trip for this and also makes his chasing debut.
The best of these over hurdles, Impero was second in a good handicap here in May but hasn’t shown much in three starts over fences.
SELECTION: STEDE BONNET

The David O’Sullivan-trained Cullenwaine stands out having run two nice races over this course and distance during the summer.
He scored by 15 lengths for his local connections here in July and lost little in defeat when second to Ladies Well, a winner again at Roscommon on Monday, at the track’s August festival.
While not so good at Wexford last time, he’s preferred to Kilkee Bay who chased him home here in July, and to Nolans Rocco who showed his best form earlier this year when second at Thurles and a narrow winner at Limerick.
SELECTION: CULLENWAINE
Next best: Kilkee Bay
